The idea we had when we founded BRAYA was to make a positive impact on the world by creating thoughtful, beautiful, and meaningful art, objects, architecture, and places—a mission we are even more committed to today. Each bespoke design project is tailored to its use, context, and client, with the goal of being memorable, remarkable, and vivid. These qualities are achieved through human-centric experiences and storytelling, iconic and unique symbolism, and conceptual clarity. Guided by our core values—creativity, curiosity, expertise, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility to one another, all living things, and the environment—we strive to craft designs that leave a strong and lasting impression.
Design Leadership
Led by Maya Janczykowska and Brad Wilkins, BRAYA has become an internationally acclaimed creative studio. Their projects can be found around the globe, spanning the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, China, Asia-Pacific, and Oceania. From fine art and sculpture to urban design and skyscrapers, their work reflects a commitment to craft and extraordinary ideas.

Maya Janczykowska
Design Principal
Art & Objects
Maya Janczykowska is an artist and designer with a wide spectrum of work, including fine art, sculpture, large-scale public art, branded environments, architecture, and master planning. Her clients have ranged from kings and governments to major corporations, universities, luxury hotels, and private patrons. Maya graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture, where she was recognized for her artistic achievements by being selected for the RISD European Honors Program. She also holds a Master of Architecture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Maya has lived and worked in the Bahamas, Italy, France, China, Singapore, and several cities in the United States, where she currently resides.
Brad Wilkins
Design Principal
Architecture & Urban Design
Brad is an expert in large-scale urban design and architecture projects. Skyscraper design, especially Supertall and mixed-use skyscrapers, is a specialty of his. He also has experience in Energy Efficiency & Resiliency Masterplanning, Clean Technology Implementation & Evaluation, and Transit-Oriented Design. Over the past 30 years, Brad has lived in various regions of the United States, half a dozen cities in Europe, and an equal number in Asia. Living, working, and playing in such diverse locales has been a core foundation of his portfolio, which includes 50+ projects in over 20 countries. Brad holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Utah, which honored him in 2010 as the Distinguished Young Alumnus of the Year.
